Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini spoke about various topics ahead of this afternoon’s midweek fixture with Bologna.
Among other things, the midfielder discussed his relationship with Nicolo Zaniolo.
“I have a special relationship with him,” Pellegrini said. “He’s like my younger brother. It’s shame that he’s being painted as someone who he is not. He’s an excellent kid, and I know how good of a player he is.”
“Conference League final? I don’t want to see it ever again. I never did in the first place since I don’t need to. I can just go to Trigoria, look at the trophy and relive the whole experience from scratch.”
“When I think of the celebrations that followed the Conference League final, I am eager to win another trophy. It was a special feeling because of how many things I had to put up with in the past.”
