Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini spoke to Japanese outlet Ultra Soccer and described his first impressions from the team’s training camp in Tokyo.
“It’s been a short time since I arrived and I’m very busy, but my impression of Japan is wonderful. I don’t have much time to visit the city right now, so I will definitely have to visit again,” remarked the Italian midfielder.
“I want to entertain the Japanese fans and I want to demonstrate that Roma can win these two upcoming friendlies with Nagoya Grampus and Yokohama Marinos.”
“The Italian league has been suspended for a while, but we want to show that we are growing as a team. I absolutely want to show my qualities to entertain the Japanese fans who will come to see us,” he concluded.
