Good news for Jose Mourinho ahead of the highly anticipated Roma-Empoli on Sunday.
The Portuguese technician will be able to welcome all players returning from international duty later today with the hope of having at his disposal some of the more important leaders of the team including Lorenzo Pellegrini and Gianluca Mancini.
Both players returned preemptively from Italy’s training camp after suffering muscle injuries.
According to La Repubblica, however, their conditions seem to be improving and they are expected to take part in group training later this afternoon.
The hope is for the two club captains to be able to feature in Mourinho’s starting eleven on Sunday.
