Lorenzo Pellegrini is eager to return to Roma’s line-up following over an extended absence due to injury.

The Roma captain is now reportedly ready to start for Roma in their upcoming Serie A fixture with Udinese after the international break.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Pellegrini made it a point to return to the sharpest levels of match fitness by being the only Roma player to ignore Mourinho’s days off and continue to train individually at Trigoria in preparation for Udinese.

Pellegrini is aware of his importance to the team and knows that he must provide Roma with more consistency and availability as the Giallorossi enter the most difficult stretch of the season.
