Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini took the responsibility of make a round of media appearances following his side’s humiliating defeat with Cremonese in Coppa Italia.
“There is so much disappointment,” Pellegrini told Sky Sport after the final whistle.
“We cared a lot about this competition, but in three days we play again, we have to put this disappointment behind us.”
“In three games we could have been in the final. It was the shortest route. I don’t know, sometimes it doesn’t seem real to you what just happened. Starting tomorrow, we must all think about the next game.”
“I take responsibility for my performances despite the physical issues. I always give my best and want to win every game,” he reiterated.
