Good news for Jose Mourinho who should be able to rely on his captain, Lorenzo Pellegrini, in tomorrow night’s match at the Olimpico with Juventus despite initial reports of flu symptoms for the Italian midfielder.
According to the latest report by Sky Sport, Pellegrini was regularly involved in today’s group training session and is trying to make himself available to the team for Sunday night.
In light of Ola Solbakken’s forfeit, Stephan El Shaarawy would have been the only valid alternative to replace Pellegrini in Roma’s starting eleven.
