Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini and manager José Mourinho have been nominated for UEFA awards for the 21/22 season.
The European association revealed a list of nominees for Player of the Year and Coach of the Year awards for the past campaign.
Lorenzo Pellegrini made it into the Top 15 with 5 points in total behind the likes of Filip Kostić and Bernardo Silva. Karim Benzema topped the list alongside Thibaut Courtois and Kevin De Bruyne.
In the meantime, José Mourinho finished sixth for Coach of the Year behind Frankfurt’s Glasner and Villarael’s Emery. Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp topped the list.
