Jose Mourinho is hoping to recover the likes of Lorenzo Pellegrini and Leonardo Spinazzola ahead of the Derby della Capitale.
The highly-anticipated match with Lazio could see both players return to Roma’s line-up after missing the last series of games due to injury.
According to Leggo, Pellegrini and Spinazzola’s status is still doubtful.
They are unlikely to be risked in Roma’s upcoming trip to Prague where the Giallorossi will face Slavia on Thursday night.
However, Mourinho expects the pair to at least join group training a few days prior to the Derby.
