After landing in Budapest, Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini previewed tomorrow night’s Europa League final with Sevilla.

Pellegrini attended the pre-match press conference alongside his vice-captain, Gianluca Mancini.

“We’re aware of what is at stake tomorrow night, when you reach the final it means that you have followed a path and that you’ve worked hard to get there.”

“We’ve made plenty of sacrifices, we know how much we wanted to be here. We’re focused and determined to win,” he said.

“The most important thing about tomorrow night is not settle for anything less than a win. Last year we gave 100% and we won. This year we want to do the same and we have the same desire.”

“We have become more determined and hungrier for glory thanks to our coach. Thanks to him we are used to it.”

“Mourinho’s future? Like the coach said, we spoke to each other honestly and it’s only right for this to remain between us. He will talk about it once the moment is right. For now he motivated us for tomorrow.”

“We are so grateful for what we have done, we have had so many difficulties on and off the pitch. To play the final is the crowning glory of this beautiful journey. We can’t wait to play tomorrow.”
