Roma midfielder and captain Lorenzo Pellegrini continues to impress for both club and country.

The Giallorossi skipper was recently involved in Italy’s friendly victory over Ecuador – sporting the iconic number 10 jersey – where he opened the scoreline with a fantastic long-distance effort.

Following the match, Pellegrini was praised by Spalletti and Italian media painted him as the potential difference-maker for Italy in the upcoming edition of the Euros.

With the goal against Ecuador, Pellegrini recorded his 7th goal in the last 15 games, from 20 January onwards.

In order to score amount of goals prior to that date, Pellegrini had needed 49 appearances across all competitions.
