Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini has not suffered any major injury in what proved to be an injury scare episode in the first half of Roma’s friendly with Casa Pia earlier in the week.
Instead, the Italian midfielder got a surface cut on his tibia following a contrast with the opponent, reports Corriere dello Sport.
As a result, Pellegrini will not be risked in Roma’s last friendly with Waalwijk. The player will continue individual training and therapy before returning to the group next week after Christmas.
