Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini is unlikely to feature in the team’s starting XI on Sunday evening.
The Italian midfielder is still far from being 100% match fit after only recently returning from a nagging calf muscle injury that forced him to miss over one month of action.
Now, Corriere dello Sport reports that Pellegrini is expected to come off the bench in Roma’s upcoming showdown with Fiorentina – a crucial match for the Giallorossi who will look to reaffirm their grip on their top four position in the league table.
In Pellegrini’s place, Edoardo Bove will start alongside Cristante and Paredes.
