Lorenzo Pellegrini to miss Gent, Cagliari clashes due to thigh injury

Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini has been added to the long list of injury-victims this season for the Giallorossi.

Pellegrini, who was forced off early in Sunday’s match against Lecce, underwent medical examinations today, which revealed a small muscle injury in his left thigh. The 23 year-old will, therefore, miss this week’s Europa League tie against Gent and also this weekend’s league match against Cagliari, according to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo.

The Roman-born midfielder has struggled with his performances as of late, though, he still has 1 goal and 9 assists to his name this season.
