Despite being Roma’s captain, Lorenzo Pellegrini is reportedly not deemed untouchable ahead of the summer window.

Ever since Daniele De Rossi’s appointment, the Italian midfielder picked up form and dramatically improved the quality of his performances, scoring 6 goals and collecting 3 assists within the last two months.

His heroics have not gone unnoticed by several European top clubs who appear to be interested in him.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are under strict supervision by UEFA and the Settlement Agreement which requires of them to generate around €40 million in revenue from sales by the end of June.

Pellegrini – although a potentially devastating loss to the Giallorossi – could be sacrificed if a crazy offer were to come Roma’s way, reports the Italian newspaper.

His pricetag has reportedly gone up to €50 million.
