Lotito blames Sabatini for Bielsa collapse

Speaking to La Repubblica, Lazio president Claudio Lotito blamed Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini for the collapsed affair to bring Marcelo Bielsa to Lazio:

“Sabatini is one who called Bielsa to tell him not to come to Lazio. He told him, ‘What are you coming for, he’s not going to buy anyone for you’, and told him that Juan Veron did the exact same. Totti laughed at the situation? I’m not sure why, Roma doesn’t have any money.”
