Lotito: “There’s more Romanisti than Laziali in the capital, but we represent the history of football in Rome”.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito and his side were present today at the Aula Giulio Cesare to be honored for their Coppa Italia victory from this past season. Here are his words:

“I thank those present and the administration, the mayor, the council. I thank them for allowing us to be here as representatives of Rome. There are more Romanisti than Laziali in the capital, but Lazio has a greater responsibility. It’s because Lazio represents the history of football in Rome. This trophy is deserved and is due to the work of everyone. We represent history: the eagle is the symbol of Rome. It represents freedom and pride. We’re a point of reference for change. We’re also battling to improve the system”.
