Roma have turned their attention to River Plate attacker Lucas Beltran.
The Argentine forward is the capital club’s main alternative for Marcos Leonardo for whom the Giallorossi are still in talks with Santos.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, all signs were pointing to Beltran heading to Fiorentina who had made a satisfactory offer to River and received the Argentine club’s approval for the deal.
However, the player has not yet given his OK for the move and seems to be hesitant to in joining the Viola as other clubs have approached him in the last few hours including Roma.
The capital club are said to have agreed to personal terms with Beltran’s entourage but their offer is too low given River’s current demands.
