Italy NT coach and former Roma boss Luciano Spalletti weighed in on his former employer’s coaching situation after they dismissed Ivan Juric yesterday evening.
Speaking to reporters at Coverciano, the Tuscan lamented the situation, but hasn’t lost faith in the squad’s ability to rebound from their poor season.
“I’m sorry for what’s going on at Roma,” he admitted during a press conference.
“I was there for a long time and fell in love with that environment—I gave my all to Roma. However, I find it reductive to talk too easily about what is happening.”
Adding, “I prefer not to make more noise and stay quiet, and avoid creating further problems. But I think they have the team to pick themselves up.”
