Luciano Spalletti did not fall into the trap of responding to Mourinho’s claims that the Partenopei did not deserve to win in tonight’s away victory at the Stadio Olimpico. The former Roma boss analysed Napoli’s win in the post match interview with DAZN.
“I don’t want to talk about Mourinho’s words. I want to talk about my analysis of the match: a game full of traps and my team performed very well, even if there were some mistakes made along the way.”
“We created two or three scoring chances and didn’t concede,” he said. “We lost some balls that we usually don’t lose, perhaps also thanks to Roma and their midfield.”
“We need Osimhen, we need him score goals and make these sudden accelerations that only he can do. When he puts his emotions aside he becomes very strong. Even mentally he is very strong, one of the strongest I have ever seen.”
