As Italy prepare to face England in a crucial European Qualifier, Luciano Spalletti is expected to rely on Roma man Bryan Cristante.
The Italian midfielder was on the bench in Italy’s recent win over Malta. However, this time around, Cristante will likely feature in Spalletti’s starting eleven against Gareth Southgate’s side.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Spalletti is set to rely on the midfield pairing of Nicolo Barella and Bryan Cristante to try and neutralize England’s biggest threat and one of this year’s top performers in Jude Bellingham.
Gianluca Mancini will also start after playing versus Malta, whereas Stephan El Shaarawy will contribute off the bench.
