Ludogorets defender Olivier Verdon was caught kicking Zalewski in the face while the Roma fullback was on the ground in the final minutes of last night’s Europa League affair.
The player was handed a red card for violent conduct in the 90th minute.
Verdon apologized to the Polish international in an Instagram story published shortly after the final whistle.
“Forgive me for this mistake,” wrote the number 24. “I was looking at the ball. Good luck for the future.”
