Roma Primavera captain Luigi Cherubini is reportedly no longer close to joining Juventus on a permanent deal from the Giallorossi.
The 20-year-old midfielder seemed to be on the verge of completing a move to Juventus after the two clubs engaged in talks for the transfer of Dean Huijsen.
However, Sportitalia journalist Gianluigi Longari reports that this is no longer the case as Cherubini has vetoed the move due to personal reasons.
Therefore, Juventus are likely to shift their attention to other younger talents in Italy, with Cherubini set to remain at Roma for the time being.
