Luis Muriel is close to a move to Eintracht Frankfurt despite having been linked with Roma up until a few hours ago.
The Atalanta attacker had been rumored as one of Roma’s main options to strengthen the attack less than two weeks before the start of the new Serie A season.
However, Eintracht Frankfurt seem to have overcome the Giallorossi in the race for the veteran forward.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Muriel will join Frankfurt on a permanent deal from Atalanta for around €7 million.
The player will sign a long-term deal worth €3 million per season.
