Roma are considering a move for Atalanta forward Luis Muriel.
As reported in last night’s edition of Sky Sport, Roma continue to be locked in negotiations for Marcos Leonardo of Santos who is the capital club’s priority for the attack.
However, Santos have shown increasing resistance to the idea of selling Leonardo given the recent turmoil in the Brazilian side’s upper management and poor results on the pitch.
Therefore, Roma have already secured a preliminary agreement for Atalanta’s Muriel – the veteran forward would join the Giallorossi on a permanent deal in case Leonardo were not to come after all.
Roma found an agreement with Atalanta for €5 million plus €1 million in add-ons.
