Lazio released a statement on their official website from Senad Lulic, who apologized for his racist remark after his team’s 2-0 loss against Roma:
“With a cool head, I realise that I’ve responded to a provocation with another provocation. I come from a country that understands quite well the tragedies that can be caused by ethnic prejudices. For this, I’m sorry that I got caught up in the tension of the Derby as I expressed myself in an unfortunate manner.”
