Mady Camara a step away from joining Roma from Olympiakos

With Andrea Belotti set to officially become a new Roma player on Sunday, the Giallorossi are turning their attention toward the signing of Olympiakos midfielder Mady Camara who is expected to join the capital club in the coming days.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Camara is a step away from joining Mourinho’s team after only a few days worth of negotiations.

Roma have advanced an official bid which is likely to be accepted by Olympiakos. The Greek club have agreed to let Camara join Roma on loan with option to buy. The option can turn into obligation once the player appears in 70% of club engagements and Roma qualify for next year’s Champions League at the end of the season.

Both clubs hope to find a definite agreement tomorrow in order for Camara to be able to travel to the Italian capital on Monday morning.
