Mady Camara after Napoli loss: “The team is the most important thing to me.”

Roma midfielder Mady Camara made his second consecutive start in last night’s home defeat to Napoli and was one of the few bright spots that kept Roma in the game until Napoli’s goal.

The Guinean player spoke to the club after the final whistle and addressed encouraging takeaways from the loss.

“I think it was a balanced match against a great opponent like Napoli, we had some opportunities which we could have made better use of. But, this is football,” said the ex-Olympiakos man. “Now we have to get back on our feet and think about the next game.”

“On a personal level, I think my teammates helped me a lot to integrate into the team. That’s what football is about: helping your teammates to win as much as possible. The team is the most important thing.”

“I think today’s match is a bit deceptive, in football you have to think about the next match. We will try to talk it out in the dressing room and be positive for the next match.”
