Mady Camara discusses decision to join Roma from Olympiakos

Roma’s latest signing, Mady Camara, revealed his motivation to join the Giallorossi late in the transfer window with other offers on the table in his first interview with the club. Earlier today, the Guinean midfielder signed a one-year loan deal with Roma.

“I’m really happy to be here,” said the 25-year-old. “And I want to thank everyone who made it possible for me to come here.”

“Throughout the transfer window I held talks with several clubs and received many offers but I really wanted to come to Roma. It was always my first choice.”

“I have already faced Milan in the Europa League and I know that Serie A is not easy. You have to work hard and believe in what you do. Then, with the work, the results will come.”
