Roma have identified Mady Camara as the ideal replacement for Gini Wijnaldum who suffered a fractured tibia a week ago in training and will be forced to miss the next 3-4 months.
The capital club have been working intensively on signing Olympiakos midfielder Mady Camara on loan for the season. As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the Greek giants have agreed to Roma’s proposal of a loan with option to buy.
The option – reports Di Marzio – could turn into an obligation once the player features in at least 70% of all season engagements and Roma qualify for next year’s Champions League.
The Giallorossi will now formulate their final bid of €2 million plus an option to buy for €8 million which Olympiakos are expected to accept. The 25-year-old midfielder could already travel to Italy on Monday.
