Guinean midfielder Mady Camara is expected to return to Olympiakos at the end of the season.
Brought in as an emergency signing in late August – following Gini Wijnaldum’s injury – the 26-year-old failed to make an impact on Jose Mourinho’s midfield. So far this season, Camara collected only 16 appearances across all competitions.
Since the World Cup break, Camara has not seen any playtime and is now considered to be on the margins of Roma’s roster.
According to Corriere della Sera, the player will return to his parent club in June as the conditions in his current contract prevent him from making any further appearances for the Giallorossi with the risk of triggering an automatic obligation to buy.
