Former Roma defender Maicon – who wore the Giallorossi colors between 2013 and 2016 – spoke to Tuttomercatoweb.
The Brazilian fullback was asked about Roma’s signing of Wesley as well as Gian Piero Gasperini’s appointment.
“They’ve made a great move. Wesley is really good, he has great pace and quality,” said Maicon.
“He can do very well under Gasperini, whose arrival I’m convinced will take Roma to the Champions League.”
