The Norwegian attacker returned from his unsuccessful loan at Urawa Reds and is now regularly training with Daniele De Rossi’s squad.
His future, however, is unlikely to unravel in the Italian capital.
For the past few weeks, Roma have been shopping him around Europe, in hope of attracting offers for a permanent exit.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Solbakken has drawn Malmo’s interest.
However, the player’s salary poses a big problem for the Swedish team.
Solbakken would have to accept a pay cut in order to facilitate the completion of the deal.
