Manchester City fullback Sergio Gomez is being linked with a move to Roma.

The Spanish defender is reportedly in Roma’s shortlist for the summer.

The player’s limited minutes at Manchester City are likely to motivate him to seek more playing time elsewhere.

According to Il Tempo, Gomez has been approached by Roma in recent days.

Giallorossi technical director Florent Ghisolfi seems to consider him a good reinforcement for Daniele De Rossi’s team that is bound to lose Leonardo Spinazzola in free agency and is therefore looking for an additional fullback.

Physically similar to his compatriot Angelino, Gomez would be a low cost solution with international experience that would provide the team with depth in defense and attack as he can cover multiple positions on the pitch.
