Roma are not the only club interested in Flamengo fullback Wesley.
The Brazilian defender remains Gian Piero Gasperini’s favorite option to further boost Roma’s right flank.
However, the Giallorossi will have to accelerate in their talks with Flamengo if they want to secure Wesley’s arrival in the coming weeks.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City are also keen on Wesley.
The English giants have been looking for a right-back to add in this summer window and the Brazilian 21-year-old seems to fit the bill.
As a result, Roma are trying to accelerate the negotiations with Flamengo in order to reach an agreement as soon as possible.
