Manchester United enter the race for Roma’s Calafiori

Roma Primavera left back Riccardo Calafiori continues to be one of the most sought after prospects in Europe.

Today, British outlet the Daily Star reported that Manchester United have entered the race to sign the rising Calafiori.

The Red Devils have, reportedly, watched the 18-year-old left back play for the Giallorossi youth team several times this season and the Old Trafford side have initiated contact with Mino Raiola, his agent, about a potential move.

Calafiori has a contract with Roma that runs until 2022, but the Italian club is keen to tie him down to a new deal in an attempt to ward off interest from not only the English side, but also PSG.
