The Giallorossi continue their search for a Sporting Director as the club’s new owners, Dan and Ryan Friedkin, are eyeing several profiles for the role.

French outlet Eurosport.fr has reported that Lille executive, Luis Campos, is at odds with the club’s President, Gérard Lopez, and has requested that his contract with the French side be terminated.

The 56 year-old has long drawn interest from Roma, but Manchester United are also, repeatedly, keen on his services, according to Daily Record.

Meanwhile, Roma will meet with Hamburg Sporting Director Jonas Boldt this week for the same role in the Italian capital. Should the German ultimately join the Giallorossi, it would not exclude the potential arrival of Campos, who could join as a consultant.
