Manchester United are reportedly interested in long-time Roma target Marcos Leonardo of Santos.

The 20-year-old attacker was recently in talks to join the Giallorossi on a permanent deal from Santos. However, the Brazilian side opposed the transfer as they battle to avoid relegation.

Thus, Roma have been working on an agreement for Leonardo’s move to become official in January 2024.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the capital club must hurry because Manchester United recently turned their attention to Leonardo.

The newspaper claims the Red Devils are ready to submit a higher bid than Roma’s: €20 million fixed fee plus €5 million in add-ons.
