With the international break coming to an end, Roma are using this as an opportunity to finalize two contract renewals.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Gianluca Mancini and Ebrima Darboe are nearing a contract extension that will tie them to the club until 2026.
Mancini’s extension was reportedly one of Mourinho’s indicated decisions: The Special One values the 25-year-old defender and considers him one of the leaders of the team.
The centre-back is expected to receive a salary of up to €3 million per season.
Darboe, on the other hand, will reportedly extend his contract until 2026 and make €400,000 per season.
Mourinho and his staff are big believers in the young midfielder and their objective is to turn him into a reliable starter.
Both renewals could be announced in the coming days.
