Soon-to-be sporting director Gianluca Petrachi is aiming to gain €45 million of “plusvalenze” before 30 June. The Italian is working on several tracks at the moment: Ponce to Spartak for €7-8 million, Dzeko to Inter and the farewell of Manolas.
The young Argentine attacker is very close to moving to Russia due to the offer of €2 million in net wages per season. However, talks for Edin Dzeko have stalled. The Giallorossi have requested €20 million for the player while are offering only €10 million. Most of the attention, though, has been turned to Kostas Manolas. Napoli are hot on the tracks of the Greek and want to bring him to replace Raul Albiol. Roma, according to Il Tempo, are keen on Napoli midfielder Amadou Diawara, who could be inserted into the operation for Manolas. Meanwhile, another profile the Giallorossi like is Atalanta’s Gianluca Mancini.
The priorities for Petrachi this summer now seem clear: two defenders, a goalkeeper and a midfielder.
