Mancini’s contract renewed until 2026

Gianluca Mancini’s contract has been officially renewed until 2026 despite there not being an announcement made by the club, reports Il Tempo.

The vice-captain’s contract was automatically renewed due to a clause present in an initial agreement between the capital club and player.

However, there is work yet to be done in order to secure the centre-back’s long-awaited salary increase (around €3 million until 2027).

General Manager Tiago Pinto is keeping the door open at the moment, and is expected to meet with Mancini’s agent in March to discuss further contractual details as the deal remains unfinished.
