Manolo Zubiria to be named the new Manager of UEFA relations at Roma

Manolo Zubiria is returning to Roma. The American-born director left the club in 2017 from his role as Head of Team Operations to take up a role with CONCACAF, but after a recent call from Giallorossi president James Pallotta — the temptation to return to Rome was too great to resist.

Zubiria will become Roma’s new Director of UEFA Relations and will also help oversee the club’s logistics, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport. Zubiria will be present at the Olimpico this evening for the match against Sassuolo — which will mark his first time back at the stadium in two years following the goodbye match of Francesco Totti.
