After putting on an impressive shift for France, Manu Koné is ready to lead Roma in the upcoming match with Genoa.
The French midfielder is looking at the possibility to make his first appearance from the start for his new club.
As reported by Corriere della Sera, it is practically guaranteed that Koné will get to feature in Daniele De Rossi’s starting formation on Sunday.
De Rossi is particularly happy with Koné’s signing: the Italian technician had explicitly asked the club to invest in a strong, promising midfielder and make that the focus of their transfer window rather than investing in any other position.
The newspaper adds that De Rossi will now work closely with Koné to rid him of one bad habit, namely yellow cards as the player gets too many of those.
