Marash Kumbulla discusses Inter, anxious for upcoming Derby

Roma defender Marash Kumbulla admitted that his side, once again, made too many mistakes in their 3-1 loss to Inter.

The defeat was Roma’s twelfth of their Serie A campaign, the most since the 2012/2013 season. Despite their putrid league results, Kumbulla claimed that his first season in the Italian capital was a positive one.

The Albanian joined the Giallorossi late in the summer on a permanent deal from Hellas Verona, his boyhood club.

“Certainly I wanted to do more this season. However, it was my first experience away from home and my first season at big club. All in all, it was positive,” he stated to Roma TV.

“We’ll try to finish the season in the best way possible. I’m anxious for the Derby, we want to win it for our supporters, who will be watching from home.”

Finally, “We have to improve on the mistakes we made today, we could have don e much better.”
