Marash Kumbulla sealed last night’s 2-0 win with an impressive header off Paulo Dybala’s corner kick in the final minutes of the match with Real Sociedad.
Following the match, Kumbulla expressed his satisfaction with having celebrated in front of a packed Curva Sud at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
“For me the important thing is to feel physically well, only in this way can I give my best. I’ve always been ready, when the coach calls me I’m always there,” the Albanian defender told the media after the final whistle.
“Scoring this goal was very important to me, I’d been waiting for my chance to score for a while now, then doing it under the Curva Sud was a dream I had when I got here.”
