Roma centre-back Marash Kumbulla wrote a long post on Instagram where he reflected on his second season at the club.
“My second season with the Giallorossi ends in the best way: we made history together and I won my first trophy on a magical night in my beloved Tirana.”
“These were days of incredible emotions and moments that we will keep with us forever,” he continued.
“It wasn’t an easy year by all means, but I’m proud of my growth, I fought to conquer every minute on the pitch and I really never gave up an inch.”
“We were a team from start to finish and that’s why we won. Now I’m going back to Tirana and I want to continue to give everything to take my Albania as high as possible.”
