Marash Kumbulla continues his recovery from a torn ACL, hoping to return to Jose Mourinho’s disposal early next year.
His agent, Gianni Vitali, discussed the club’s reaction to Kumbulla’s long-term injury as well as his relationship with the Special One.
“Everything is proceeding as it should,” Vitali told Sporitalia. “Marash has a great desire to get back on the field.”
“He continues working, his return must happen in the right way and at the right time, but I also hope it happens sooner than expected for two reasons. First of all for himself, for the level of motivation that he has. And not least for the fact that he wants to lend a hand to the team.”
“Throughout this period, Kumbulla felt great support from the whole club, not just the coach. Then with José there is a wonderful human relationship and it was certainly important for him. But there was impeccable management by everyone, starting from Tiago Pinto, and these are certainly not words of circumstance, but the description of facts.”
