Marash Kumbulla’s agent, Gianni Vitali, recounted his client’s first six months in the Italian capital since his transfer to Roma.
Following his mid-September move from Hellas Verona, the 21 year-old has become an integral piece for manager Paulo Fonseca. He has tallied 18 appearances and two goals thus far this season, but Vitali claims that the best is yet to come.
“Marash’s first season has been extremely positive,” he said to ForzaRoma.info. “He has been a protagonist from the beginning. He’s an extremely mature player.”
“However, I do think the club and also Marash have been subject to too much criticism this season. Though, this is a part of football, especially when you play in such an important club and city such as Roma.”
He continued, “His relationship with the manager and the club is excellent. He immediately felt the trust that they had in him. I think Marash and Roma can continue together for a long time. His journey with the Giallorossi has just begun.”
