Marash Kumbulla’s return to the pitch from an ACL injury has been further delayed.
The Albanian centre-back tore his ACL in the spring of 2023 and – despite having trained with the team for the past month – is still a long way away from seeing any playing time for the Giallorossi.
According to today’s edition of Il Tempo, Kumbulla’s return has been further delayed due to a hardening of the adductor which is slowing down his final recovery phase.
The issue is not serious, but Kumbulla is unlikely to be called up by Jose Mourinho for any of the next few games in Serie A and Coppa Italia.
