Marcel Sabitzer is considering a proposal from Roma.
The Austrian international is reportedly Roma’s first choice to strengthen Jose Mourinho’s midfield in this summer window.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have been in direct contact with Sabitzer’s entourage in recent hours.
However, the Italian newspaper reports that Sabitzer has asked for time to reflect on his own future as the player is uncertain of Thomas Tuchel’s plans for him at Bayern Munich.
Given that when Tuchel took over managerial duties at Bayern Sabitzer was still on loan at Manchester United, it remains unclear whether the German head coach will want to keep him for the upcoming campaign.
Roma are thus waiting for Sabitzer to confirm his intentions.
