Roma are reportedly targeting Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer.
The deal, however, appears to be complicated given Bayern’s demands for the Austrian international and Sabitzer’s stance in the matter.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma’s initial offer of a simple loan for Sabitzer was promptly dismissed by Bayern Munich and, as a result, talks never properly took off.
Sabitzer, on the other hand, is not entirely keen on another move away from Germany after his unsuccessful loan at Manchester United. The midfielder wants to convince Thomas Tuchel to keep him for the upcoming season.
Thus, Roma turn their attention to other targets for the midfield.
